# Transcript
Review what was said in a conversation and revisit specific moments.
The **Transcript** tab lets you review a recorded conversation alongside its transcript, making it easier to verify what was said, listen back to specific moments, and identify areas that may need coaching.
The full transcript review experience is available in the web app, while the mobile app lets you view the transcript and existing notes.

## **Review a transcript on the web**
Open a conversation in the web app and select the **Transcript** tab. The recording appears above the transcript, allowing you to listen to the conversation while following along with the text.
### **Recording**
You can play the recording directly from the **Transcript** tab. Select the **Download** icon next to the recording to download the audio.
The recording timeline shows your position in the conversation as you move through the transcript, making it easier to connect what you are reading with the corresponding moment in the recording.
### **Transcript**
Each section of the transcript includes a timestamp, speaker label, and the transcribed conversation.
Click a timestamp to jump to that point in the recording. As you move through the conversation, the corresponding position on the recording timeline is highlighted.
Porter uses labels such as **Speaker 1** and **Speaker 2** rather than automatically assigning roles such as representative or customer. Select **Edit speakers** below the recording to change these labels.
### **Add notes from the transcript**
When you find a moment worth discussing or coaching, hover over that section of the transcript to display **Note**.
Click it to add feedback directly to that part of the conversation.
The note is associated with the corresponding timestamp, making it easier to connect the feedback to the specific moment being discussed.

## **Review a transcript on mobile**
Open a conversation in the Porter mobile app and select the **Transcript** tab. Scroll through the transcript to review what was said and view existing notes.
The mobile app provides a viewing experience for the transcript, while the web app provides additional tools for reviewing the recording alongside the transcript and adding timestamped feedback.

## **Expand the transcript view**
When you need more space to review the recording and transcript, select **Full view** on the right side of the **Activity** and **Transcript** tabs.
Full view expands the section and hides the conversation details, giving you more room to work through the transcript and recording. To return to the default view, click **Close**.
