# Phone numbers

Choose how you want Porter to handle your phone conversations.

The **Phone numbers** page lets you choose how your business connects phone conversations to Porter. You can use a **Porter business number** for customer calls, which Porter can route to your team and use to record, transcribe, and analyze conversations.

If you already use a supported phone system, you can connect it through a **telephony integration** and continue using your existing numbers while allowing Porter to capture supported calls.

## **Business numbers**

Use **Business numbers** to add and manage Porter business numbers, including their forwarding numbers and call routing.

To add a new Porter business number, select **Add number**. The **Add business number** panel brings together the settings for choosing a number, giving it an internal name, and configuring call forwarding and routing.

For more information about these settings, see [**Set up a Porter business number**](/docs/porter-for-managers/getting-started/set-up-a-porter-business-number.md).

To manage an existing business number, select the **three-dot menu** next to it. You can choose **Edit** to update its name, forwarding numbers, or routing type, or choose **Delete** to remove the number.

## **Telephony integrations**

If you already use a supported phone system, you can connect it to Porter instead of using a Porter business number. This lets you continue using your existing phone system while allowing Porter to capture supported calls for recording, transcription, and conversation insights.

Under **Telephony integrations**, you can connect supported providers such as **Quo** and **RingCentral**.

Select **Connect** next to the provider you use.

If you use a phone system that isn't listed under **Telephony integrations**, email [**team@runporter.com**](mailto:team@runporter.com) to ask whether it can be integrated with Porter.
