# Tags

Make conversations easier to sort and find.

Tags help you organize conversations based on information that matters to your team. You can create tags that Porter automatically applies to conversations when the criteria you define are met, making it easier to identify and find conversations with specific characteristics.

## **Create a conversation tag**

Select **Create new tag** to open the tag creation form.

Enter:

* **Tag name** — The name you want to use for the tag.
* **When should AI add this tag?** — Describe the criteria Porter should use to determine when the tag should be added to a conversation.

Select **Create tag** to save the tag, or **Cancel** to discard it.
